Frederick Bremer
Grew up in Walthamstow and was born 12th July 1872- 1941. He was an English engineer and inventor known for building, with his assistant Tom Bates the first British four-wheeled motorcar, this was claimed in 1912 by the British ‘Motor’ magazine. He took his car onto the roads of Walthamstow in 1888 when he moved there.
