Khalid meets Geraldine Reardon

Councillor declares healthy appetitie for Mela matters.

Streetlife FM listeners were given a substantial dose of Olympic detail from the Cabinet member responsible for Leisure, Arts and Culture. Councillor Reardon was also quizzed by Khalid on the question of youth clubs which seems to be a popular text theme for Streetlife listeners. "Meet the Councillor" is certainly proving to be popular with guests and listeners alike.

On a cultural note Councillor Reardon indicated it was a serious aspect of her cabinet brief that she personally check out the culinary dimension of all live events notable favourites being the Asian Mela.

Previously involved with UNISON – the union , Councillor Reardons’s time is currently fully taken up with her council duties.
