Eleanor Bennet

Leyton's one-woman wonder, Eleanor Bennet, came in to talk about her single 'We Wipe Bums!' Yes, that's right, 'We Wipe Bums!' which comes from her award winning show 'Off her Trolley'. It's catchy, quirky, and all sales proceeds go to the Alzheimers Society. She's also touring with the show and the song, writing new stuff for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in March 2010 she'll be building the world's tallest toilet roll tower! David Bailey

Self taught photographer, he was born 2nd January 1938 in Leytonstone. David Bailey developed a love for natural history, which lead him to photography. He was contracted as fashion photographer for Vogue Magazine after being a photographic assistant for the John French Studio, and then became a freelance photographer for Sunday times, Daily telegraph, Glamour and Elle magazine. He directed several films including ‘The lady and the Tramp’ which he also wrote and coincided with the publication of his book with the same name. In 2001 he was awarded a CBE


Tony Robinson

An actor, broadcaster and political campaigner, he was born 15th August 1946 in Leytonstone. His first professional acting experience was at the age of 12 when he was a member of Fagin’s gang in the original production of the musical 'Oliver'. Well known for playing Baldrick in BBC series Blackadder, and hosting channel 4 shows. He is also a respect author of 16 children’s books.


Paul Ross

Journalist, television editor and media personality, he was born 31st December 1956 in Leytonstone. He is Jonathan Ross Older brother and a film reviewer. He trained as a journalist and worked on channel 4’s controversial youth show the word. In 2003 he joined London radio station LBC 97.3. In November 2006 he caused controversy by announcing an Eastenders Christmas storyline on his LBC radio show, causing his mother Martha, who told him the storyline, to be fired from her job as an extra on Eastenders.
