Streetlife FM meets Nihal

Radio 1 presenter Nihal popped into Streetlife FM to chat to Mr Redmar and Damo about his time in the music industry. Currently the presenter of the weekend early afternoon slot and the Asian beats and flavas show on Radio1, Nihal shared his wisdom, knowledge and some practical advice on ways to get into the music industry.

A music journalist in a former life, Nihal wrote for The Face, Eastern Eye, Mixmag, Hip Hop Connection and the Observer before following that up with PR for the likes of Mos Def and even Elton John! He also managed to fit in a stint rapping with Fun Da Mental and DJing at Glastonbury, as well as presenting Desi DNA on BBC 2 and rap show The Drop on MTV Base.
