WezzyB meets Nick Buckmaster

Nick Buckmaster Conservative councillor for Larkswood Ward, and personal assistant Alex with StreetLife FM’s Wezzy B.

"Meet the Councillor" programme listeners got two for the price of one, (or is that two and a half!) with a double appearance of councillors, the second half guest being Councillor Buckmaster

Hammers fan and keen football player, Councillor Buckmater currentlyon the local Transport Committee had his personal spin doctor on hand in case Wezzys’ questions took a nasty turn – actually the youngest of three sons, Alex. As it transpired the councillor was more than happy to discuss a range of issues as they pertain to youth in the borough.

Keen to see the involvement of young people in positive projects Councillor Buckmaster had only praise for the Streetlife project citing it as a good example of projects that make a difference. As an indication of his musical taste the councillor turned to the likes ofUB40, The Stranglers and Paul Weller.

The seventh councillor to appear on Streetlife FM 87.7fm over the last two weeks of broadcast CouncillorBuckmaster left the studioa happy man but probably not as happy as hisStreetlife FM merchandiseladen son – let’s face it who wouldn’t be happy with a Streetlife FM pen, Streetlife FM mug and 2 Streetlife FM whistles.
