Sara meets Joseph Jack

Joseph Jack popped into Streetlife FM to talk to Sara and Abbi about turning his life around after starting up his own company. RU Listening is an underground entertainment movement which he started last year and now encompasses an urban clothing line and compilation albums.

Rapper/poet Joseph has been working to get his name out there after making his own album and is gaining more and more fans by the day. After coming up with the phrase “RU Listening” at the age of 20, he decided to use it to start his own company and has recently featured in The Voice newspaper.

After his first live performance in 2008, he carried on at open mic shows to perfect his craft until he had the respect of his audience. Using what is going on in the streets as his material, he talks of the reality of being a young Londoner in the 21 stcentury.
