Rod meets Led Bib
Local jazz group Led Bib spoke to Streetlife FM’s Rod about their music and being catapulted into the limelight!
Describing themselves as a cross-genre band, Led Bib have been called everything from punk to scrunk and have become better known after playing at the prestigious Meltdown Festival on London’s Southbank. They have also just been nominated for the esteemed Mercury prize for their fourth album, Sensible Shoes. Pete and Chris also talk about how they improvise when playing live and the chemistry that comes from playing together for so many years.
Listen again to hear them talking about playing alongside one of their heroes and also of trying to sneak into the backstage area when they couldn’t get tickets!
