Screening campaign for 16 to 25 year olds gets Streetlife Treatment
Streetlife FM welcomed Juliette Bigley from the Terrence Higgins Trust into the studio to give details of a national campaign targeting young people potentially at risk from Chlamydia.
As some one just outside the age range Lol was none the less intrigued to get some clarity on the subject which affects 10% of all 16 to 25 year olds, regardless of background.
It was established that a simple and confidential test, for this sometimes hidden complaint, with a painless treatment if necessary could prevent potentially serious consequences later on.
