Autumn 2010 Course

Music fanatic Chris, loves listening to music and the radio, and enjoys nothing better than playing and practicising his decks at home.

King College student, Jermaine, loves kicking around a football. His favourite music at the moment is funky house, reggae and indie-electro. He recently won a certificate at Streetlife FM's first ever Presenter and Producer Awards.

As well as her love of radio, Abigail is also part of the Aid Cadets - and she's top of her class. We've noticed she's got a nack for editing too.

She can write, spit and she's the most adventurous student in class. Tumi is currently taking a BTEC in Media, Photography and Filming. She loves nothing more than listening and partying to bashment, Motown classics and slow jams.

Walthamstow Academy Course

In May 2010 we ran an Introduction to Radio Production and Presenting course. 10 students from Walthamstow Academy learnt all about what makes a cool and fresh sounding radio show. The students took over the StreetlifeFM studios for the day. They came up with all their own shows, edited audio, had some crazy chats and one of the groups even got the hot, new artist Teezy in for an chat and a live freestyle over some of his beats.
